I am also glad to note that the National Afforestation Program has aroused great interest across the country - a conclusion I reached based on personal observations, participation in planting activities and discussions with mayors from various localities, who showed their support and facilitated afforestation actions," Igor Grosu said.

The President of Parliament also underlined that one of the major priorities addressed by the legislature was waste management. "We are witnessing unprecedented climate change, some of it irreversible. We need to recognize, even belatedly, the need to make up for what was not done in time. Everyone has understood that we need a coherent and responsible approach in this area"said Igor Grosu.
